Valeria… and her day trip outside Rome: Ostia and Old Ostia

For a morning person like Valeria, the day starts taking the train at Piramide Station, reachable from Policlinico metro in only 5 minutes walking from our hotel, direction Old Ostia. What does Valeria recommend? To do not forget your camera, especialy if you are passionate about photography just like her!
First stop is the famous Medieval Village. Visiting the village, with the walls and the castle still intact, it's like going back to the past, imagining about how was life then. Inside the village there are also little handicraft shops and little bars for good ice creams. The castle can be visited for free!
If you love good cuisine, Valeria suggests the restaurant Lo Sbarco di Enea where you can taste fresh fish food specialties served by waiters dressed up with clothes of the ancient Rome, surrounded by a very particular setting.
Her day continues to Ostia's seafront, where she loves to walk waiting for sunset in one of her favourite lounge bar: the V-Lounge, an elegant and relaxing place for a delicious cocktail.
Keep the camera at your fingerprints for a picture at the sunset!

Damiano… and his Rome among colors and art

Damiano's day starts early in the morning with a pleasant walk through the beautiful trees in Villa Borghese and then continue up to Valle Giulia and reach the Modern Art National Gallery, with the exhibition “Time is Out of Joint”, which collects works from 1700 up to now.
Damiano suggerisce una piccola sosta al Caffè delle Arti dove si può gustare un buon caffè in un bellissimo palazzo in stile neoclassico.
After this stop, next destination is Casina Valadier, a beautiful restaurant with a XIX Century style where you can taste high quality Italian dishes prepared by expert chefs.
In the evening, a must is the walk in the historic center of Rome and in Monti Neighborhood (Cavour) up to the Imperial Fora, and end the day with a fantastic aperitif at the Coming Out bar right in front the Colosseum, where you will be able to have a good spritz with Rome's sunset that heads its red lights towards the eternal Roman walls.
