Discover Rome with our Summer itineraries!

Have you ever seen Rome thorugh "the eyes of Romans" ? Do you want to live the Summer in Rome in the most unique way? The BW Globus Hotel, 3-star hotel in Rome, suggests you restaurants, clubs and attractions that are part of the daily life of our staff. Places that deserve to be visited and that only a true Roman can suggest, knowing that...

Rome is not like the other cities.
It's a big museum, a parlor to cross on tiptoe.

(Alberto Sordi)

Rosella… and her romantic walk through the Baths of Caracalla and the Aventine Hill

Rossella loves to discover Rome, her “adoptive city” since almost 6 years!
In this period of the year the Baths of Caracalla are a must to see, where is it possible to be surrounded by the history, the architecture and the green of Rome! Each time that she leaves the baths, she always directs her glance to the close house of Alberto Sordi, one of the most famous Italian actors. For her this represents a homage to the man that made the history of Italian cinema.
A few minutes from here it is possible to reach the elegant Aventine Hill and the Orange Garden with an amazing view of Rome from the top and the near "Lock”, a nice surprise to amaze your travel companions.
The perfect moment?! Late afternoon… To enjoy a breathtaking sunset! The perfect place for romantic people like Rossella!
After this long walk and the amazing sunset, it's necessary to recharge your batteries at the Queen makeda, a cool place loved by Rossella for the tasty octopus and potato croquette and the tuna burger!
In case you pass by before dinner, Rossella suggests it also for the aperitif; international and tasty dishes that “move” on conveyor tape served with home brew!

Simona… fountains are sufficient to justify a trip to Rome [P.B.Shelley]

Simona suggests an itinerary that loves to do once in a while with her kids and friends. First stop is the restored Fontana della Barcaccia in piazza di Spagna (Spanish Square) and its staircases where you can take a beautiful and funny selfie!
Once you complete your “Selfie-book”, you can't miss a walk to Via della Croce where to taste the different flavors of Pompi's tiramisu, a special delicacy, that reminds a homede one!
Then you can't miss a walk to Trevi Fountain, where you can throw a coin that, tradition has it, will ensure you another trip to Rome.
A treat for lunch?! The cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper) made at the restaurant “Er Faciolaro”, close to Pantheon.
The tour continues with the fountain at Piazza Navona, Fontana dei Fiumi, Fontana del Moro and Fontana del Nettuno… and everytime a walk through this places seems like the first time!
